The combination of tread elements enables good performance in constantly varying road conditions. The outer part of the tread provides grip on dry asphalt, the middle part-on ice, and the inner part-on snow. The lamellas design  makes the tyre resistant to aquaplaning on wet asphalt, while tread blocks, connected by bridges, are like anti-skid chains on snow.
